Hi Rick:

I don't doubt for one minute market manipulation courtesy Da Boyz takes place on a regular basis, but in this case, did we not have almost a natural area for a bounce to occur?

All I did was take the September low and draw a line through to the October low and extend it, and sure enough, it converged where the ES low took place last night.

Is this hidden pivot accuracy? No, of course not.

But sometimes the simplicity of a line moving in an upward direction (let's call it "Trading for the hard-of-thinking") is just enough to temporarily save the day.

Most trend lines don't get cracked on the first attempt, and maybe this is what we had going on last night.

Late night opportunism? Sure it was, but nothing that doesn't take place on a regular basis during normal trading hours.

Was this not (at least) part of the appeal to PAR, a stock one of your subscribers mentioned the other night? The very real potential for a rebound off a simple trend line dating back to last March?

Cheers!
