The deck is invariably missing a few cards on Sunday night — a suited A-2-3 meld just in case DaBoyz need a little help. Unfortunately for them, there’s no news to move the markets this evening, only a developing story from the Big Apple about a terrorist still on the loose and beefed up police presence following a bombing incident Saturday night that injured 29 people. Even if it turns out to be tied to another bombing that occurred 11 hours earlier in Jersey City, that would still fall well shy of the sort of catastrophe it takes to spook the denizens of Wall Street. The news is not exactly heartening either, however, and so the modest rally currently under way should properly be viewed as a shabby attempt to distribute shares ahead of whatever glumness greets the new week at the opening bell.
