My latest E-Mini S&P tout puts a possible Santa rally in a technical light.  The broad averages have been wheezing lately after a steep post-election surge, and they may need to go lower in the days ahead in order to get a running start on a bullish finish to 2016. If the rally occurs on schedule, the pundits will struggle to come up with reasons tied to events in the real world. They will be wrong, as usual, but that doesn’t mean we should scorn the bullish tide, much less resist it.
