The editorialists should be careful what they wish for, since the nation seems to be nearing a breaking point. Civil war has actually become thinkable, since the events that occurred in Charlottesville could conceivably occur in any small town in America that has a bronze Confederate soldier on display. If the alt-left’s antipathy should take a violent turn toward statues of Washington and Jefferson, then, yes, we might as well call it civil war. At that point, local authorities, outgunned by Soros-equipped brownshirts, will be powerless to resist the blood-dimmed tide.

I wish I could agree with the assessment of John Jay, but Trump brings a lot of it upon himself. He seems more interested in his ratings, as if he was on TV then what really he should be focused on.
Anybody with a brain should be on TV trying to get the American people on his side. Instead he chooses to twitter. Most people who voted for him including myself, were so against Hillary and the leftest oligarchy, but they ended up with this dummy! Most of the people I listen to, or asking for the Trump who was campaigning. Not the Trump who’s worried about ratings?

Hey yeah great idea : ) if only Trump had some trustworthy Congressman around him then his total inability to preside over the US probably wouldn’t even matter. In fact it’s possible he could carry on with his pathetic child like tweets and no one would hardly notice …. . brilliant ! However, one small matter though if I may, if anyone seriously thinks he has any genuine sincerity to support you in your obsessive faith objective when the going gets tough, then I must admit I hadn’t realised just how desperate you really are.

Yes indeed, both entrenched Houses of Congress, worried about the loss of their K Street bribes, are growing increasingly desperate to remove Trump from Office.
Right from the word go, when Trump declared for the Republican nomination, the attacks on him have been non-stop, and increasingly facetious and ferocious!
From Peeing Russian Prostitutes to Joe McCarthy style baseless accusations of a secret Trump/Putin alliance, as one fantastic story after another is disproved, a fresh one is wheeled out. And no retractions or apologies for the previous slander and libel are forthcoming!
Calls for his assassination by public figures and politicians are becoming more numerous.
As a result of all this, his supporters are digging in their heels, and even those who held their nose to vote for him are beginning to like the guy more and more.
The enemy of my enemy rule applies here.The msn.com home page has had such dismal success with their anti-Trump articles they have “Temporarily disabled the comments feature”. Because the comments are ten to one pro Trump and anti MSM.
