My rally target yesterday for the E-Mini S&Ps was modest, but the futures managed nevertheless to screw the pooch for the entire session without achieving it. No matter. The target remains viable, and it will be reached even if it takes the rest of the week. Keep in mind that virtually all rallies to new record highs are powered by short-covering, and that Mr Market can wait for as long as needed to gain the support he requires from panicky bears to get the job done.
