Schedule a Fed announcement for Wednesday during the dog days of summer and what do you get? Answer: a Tuesday so incredibly boring that a trader’s brain could seize up just watching the session unfold.  Whatever Yellen has to say, you can bet that it will add little to the will-she-or-won’t-she-game that the trading-desk bozos and op-ed hacks take so seriously. Look for the former to embarrass themselves when they send stocks into wild spasms for five or ten minutes after the alleged ‘news’ hits the tape.
