The stock exchange will be closed on Tuesday for the second straight day — the first time this has occurred due to weather in more than a hundred years. There reportedly was little damage to the NYSE itself, but damage caused by the storm has made it impossible for most exchange employees to get to work. All of New York City will be similarly affected, and at this point no one can say for how long.
