If we needed evidence that the market’s tedious, trendless dirge is about to end, we got it over the weekend in the form of a Wall Street Journal story that has all the experts predicting more of the same. If the Dow Averages is about to make a bull-trap high in record territory, as I’ve been expecting — or alternatively, to collapse, as it infinitely deserves to do — it cannot happen soon enough, since the gratuitous, range-bound swings of 2014 have all but asphyxiated this market-watcher’s interest in the stock market.
