Index futures were quiet Sunday night, a pit viper at rest. My gut feeling is still that DaBoyz will have to take the S&Ps lower for the running start needed to goose them to new record highs. Whatever happens, any such move would depend mainly on short-covering, which has been the driving force behind the 64-month-old bull market.
