Stocks looked poised to head higher at Friday’s close — but then, they’ve looked that way every Friday for months. Statistically speaking, calling Monday’s opening is no better than a coin-toss even if predicting stocks will end the week higher is most surely not. Still, I am wary as hell that the stock market is in a broad topping pattern that could end with a blitz of bulls. From a technical standpoint, we’ll continue to make bulls and bears alike prove their respective cases with each new day.
