Assuming the geopolitical news remains relatively placid in the days ahead, we should see the broad averages embark on a new leg up, dragged higher by Apple. Stocks looked pretty tired on Monday, but with the biggest-cap stock of them all swimming effortlessly upstream, it was hard for them to resist a mid-day turnaround that spoiled the day for bears.
