What’s ailing stocks? Probably nothing that a little good news wouldn’t cure. The thing is, it’s hard to imagine what that good news might be. Certainly nothing geopolitical, since the world is such a mess. As for economic news, my gut feeling is that Q1 earnings due out in mid-April are going to be more than a little disappointing. Under the circumstances, the best we can hope for is a little rally to help us get short.
