I’ve tuned out Fed announcements so completely that I don’t even know what day they’re coming, let alone what the Masters of the Universe may have announced. Granted, each nauseating new piece of drivel from Yellen & Co. tends to move the markets. But as I could easily demonstrate to you, the moves are almost invariably contained by Hidden Pivot targets above and/or below pre-announcement levels. Although this can spell opportunity for traders, the hysterical price swings are so miserably stupid that they amount to a civilizational embarrassment. I can’t bring myself to watch, nor can I stomach the news media’s diligent and respectful attention to Fed puke-speak. Let me repeat this prediction for the umpteenth time: The Fed will NEVER raise rates.
