Traders take note: If whatever you’re looking for doesn’t happen in the first 30 minutes of the session, you might as well take the rest of the day off. Yesterday we had planned on bottom-fishing in the E-Mini S&Ps, but the low in the early going fell just shy of it. In olden days we might have waited for sellers to get second wind. Recently, though, they have simply given up and gone home, letting stocks do their thing with a weak waft higher. One of these days, for sure, we’re all going to be surprised in a big way, and I don’t mean the good kind of surprise.
