Both DIA and the E-Mini S&Ps came within a hair yesterday of rally targets that look promising for bears who have been waiting for a good opportunity to get short. A position initiated in DIA toward the close of Thursday’s session will still have to survive whatever mood swings obtain as the week draws to a close, and then the further risk of bullish global news over the weekend. However, if the broad averages merely dither on Friday without making much headway, I would take that as a promising sign, especially since last week’s news on Greece is probably about as good as the news is going to get for a while.
