What Happens When All the ‘Good’ News Is Out?

With Q2 earnings hubris fading, DaBoyz have lost their favorite tool for promoting short squeezes. The result is what we saw yesterday: zero buying interest — from bulls or bears. Once the night shift has manipulated index futures to a decidedly un-frothy peak in the dead of night, there’s no juice left for the opening bell.  With all the “good” news out, we shouldn’t be surprised if the selling picks up momentum in the days ahead.

As the drift into Feudalism accelerates the concentration of wealth and power on this planet, there will be no need for markets.

I believe the old fashioned “Pits” in Chicago have all closed except for a few contracts.

Anthem merges with Cigna, Aetna merges with Humana.
At this rate there will be just one Insurance company, one Defense contractor, one Agriculture corporation, etc. for the whole country.

It is probably best to make as much money as you can while there are still markets left to trade.

Because when this process reaches the predictable end, wealth transfer will be made via the arranged marriages among the offspring of the 1,000 Barons that will own everything on this planet!

There will be no need for “Markets.”

And always remember, “You can’t be too rich, or too thin!”
With the possible exception of Howard Hughes.
    Who was probably both!
    “The way of the future.”
    “The way of the future.”
    “The way of the future.”
