Wednesday’s rally died an hour into the regular session after cruising higher overnight on gaseous volume. Bears weren’t having much success either, and although index futures were trading moderately lower around midnight, we might expect them to level off and go nowhere by sunrise. Something’s got to give eventually, but the wait is enough to put the patient trader in a trance.
