ESZ15 – Dec E-Mini S&P (Last:1940.25)

Even big swings can growEven big swings can grow tedious after a while. The futures have been range-trading for two weeks, and you don’t have to be a chartist to see that trying to predict the next big move is an exercise in futility. Intraday moves are most surely tradable, however, and I would therefore suggest that you look for ‘camouflage’ and ‘mechanical’ opportunities on the very lesser charts as appropriate. As an example, take a look at this pattern that was developing at around 7:57 p.m. EDT on the two-minute chart: a=1945.25 at 3:18 p.m.; b=1933.25; c=1943.75.  Bottom-fishing at p= 1937.75 with a stop-loss as tight as three ticks would have produced a so-far gain of $200 in just 20 minutes.
