Even panicked bears need to catch their breath from time to time, so don’t be surprised if there’s a lull in the short squeeze that saved Friday from humdrum. Neither should we be unprepared if the freakish buying (i.e., with no pullbacks) resumes later in the week. This will become increasingly likely if bears are unable to force more than a shallow pullback.
