Outside of Denver, the very white state of Colorado observes Martin Luther King Day mainly as a ski holiday, but with a respectful dearth of appliance sales. Rick’s Picks marks the occasion by not publishing touts for Monday. Neither do we ski; for, as Yogi Berra might have observed, the slopes are so crowded that no one goes skiing on MLK Day any more. For those of you who are itching to trade, touts for Tuesday will be out around 6:15 EST this evening. I’m inclined to think that all of the trends in evidence last week will persist whether we like it or not.
