Once again, the emphasis is on ‘counterintuitive’ and ‘mechanical’ trade setups. We looked at the former in conjunction with a gold tout that had gone out the previous night. Although the opportunity looked enticing and went on to produce a profit, it was not exactly easy money. Profitability aside, the trade yielded a trove of analytical information that was to keep us on the right side of a recalcitrant April futures contract for the rest of the day (and night).
