I’ve bent over backwards lately second-guessing my permabear side, on a hair-trigger as I wait for the short squeeze from hell to begin. Instead, the Masters of the Universe who supposedly control the stock market like it’s a PlayStation game can barely muster a decent rally other than fleeting ones on the opening bar. Have I perhaps overestimated the sleazeballs? Probably. Regardless, it all comes down to whether they can consistently push stocks above previous peaks on the hourly chart. This generates bullish ‘impulse legs’ that are the building blocks of a healthy bull market. Lately, the builders have been quite timid, to put it charitably.
Gloomy Headlines
It’s hard to blame them, given the dispiriting drift of the news. Here are a half-dozen sobering headlines just from Tuesday: 1) Home Sales Posted Steep Fall in December; 2) World Braces for Slower Growth; 3) Silicon Valley’s Unbridled Optimism Gets Fresh Reality Check; 4) Stock Market’s Next Hurdle: Tech and Industrial Earnings; 5) UBS Warns Downturn Isn’t Over Yet After Clients Pull $13 Billion; and 6) Shutdown Could Hit Already-Lousy U.S. Home Sales. Sobering facts — indeed, sobriety itself — are the last thing Wall Street wants. The idea of carefully measured analysis is anathema to bull markets. Unfortunately for investors, this is exactly what has come to bear recently on erstwhile world-beaters like Facebook, Amazon and Apple.
I seriously doubt that Apple will be able to recover to new all-time highs any time soon. Even so, and regardless of the glum economic picture, the charts of the following stocks show each of them to be capable of rallying to new all-time highs in as little as three weeks: NFLX, NKE, TSLA, MSFT, GOOG, AMZN and BA. In fact, AAPL is the exception, with a chart so ugly that it looks like it could take months for the stock to base. (Facebook looks like hell, too, but also potentially feistier.) Could bulls conceivably romp once again without AAPL’s participation, and with the economies of Germany and China imploding? It’s tempting for me to tell you how unlikely and illogical this would be. But as we know, stranger things have happened.

A new 8-part series, Trailer Park Boys: Out of the Park: Europe, became available for streaming on Netflix on October 28, 2016. A vlog series on Swearnet called State of the Union confirmed a second season taking place in the United States. Titled Trailer Park Boys: Out of the Park: USA, it premiered on Netflix on November 24, 2017.
…………..It all begin here, its hard to observe as many trees are in the way. The Trailer Park Boys turned the market in the last high point of 2006/2007 and has done so again in 2017/2018.
Many just can not see just how far off the beaten path society has move but the Canadian government, which believe it or not put money into the hard core show states the shift after 80 plus years.
These persons are the Marx Brothers of the 1920’s where not everyone got a Marx Brothers joke back then, but the reality of what they suggest then is much like we are and have seen today. the Trailer Boys are suggesting again so many decades latter that a pivot point in a ‘Great’ society has turned the corner.
All corrections since the Marx Brothers have been 50% or so after their own investments hits the skids in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s, having then a 86/90% downturn where everything ‘as today’ was called ‘Great’, the word ‘Great’ flow though society like water as and alike the word ‘Trillion’ today.
The move towards such an array of bad behavior, language and drug addiction (children under 5!!! included) mirrors the very excessive age of the 1920’s where excessive bad behavior of filth, sex and liquor that had eroded the minds in the Marx Brother era.
Look lower over the time ahead as theses “corrections” (not just 1 or 2) will beat the facts and figures of yester year just like it has on the way upward.
