How is it that everything posted seems to attract a certain number of left wing whacks that run their their mouths like diarrhea about President Trump? We “don’t” all think the same and thank God for that. For without President Trump it would already have been “game over” under another Clinton or Sanders. Ignorant lefties need to leave the room and leave America to real Constitutional Patriots.We will be fine without you. I for one believe President Trump is the best thing to happen to America for a very, very long time. The world is cyclic and will remain so forever until it is all over.

Buyers from China are not fleeing. Their incomes are sputtering out and this has resulted in plunging house purchases in the US. Note that the only thing the CNBC reporter got right here is the decrease in home purchases. She has no clue why.

History shows, and yes how stupid of me to suggest we could learn from history but, no one who has started a trade war has ever won it.
Some kind soul close to the Trumpster needs to give him a few history lessons:
1 – not every human being on this planet has grown up in a wealth bubble just like his other mansion trash pals, so we don’t all think the same.
2 – Explain to him what the Smoot-Hawley Tariff act of 1930 was and it’s cause and effect.
3 – Explain to him that had he not pulled out of the Trans Pacific Partnership agreement you would now have an American-led largest trading block in the world, now that’s how you make and influence “friends” and defeat the Chinese.
Making friends and swinging carrots has always been more effective than swinging sticks and waging wars, what is it Americans don’t get?

Tariff wars are unjustifiable economically, since, as the law of comparative advantage implies, it is always beneficial to buy from the cheapest producer. In practice, however, this works only if the savings are invested productively. Unfortunately, much of what America saves from buying underpriced Chinese goods is invested in garbage like Uber and in share buybacks.
We can justify a tariff war with China anyhow because if we don’t draw the line somewhere, they will continue to rip us off in every way possible. The U.S. pays a stiff price to fight back, but in the eyes of many Americans it is worth it just to stick it to the bastards. Many of us wouldn’t mind subsidizing U.S.farmers and others hurt by the trade war in order to spread the pain, and to make China feel it even worse than we do.

Mind you, according to Fact Checker, the Trumpster has made 9,014 false or misleading claims over the last 773 days! like I said, what ever happened to credibility? Doesn’t anyone care anymore?

It seems to me the best way to fight that war is to let other countries set our tariffs.
If China charges 25 % tariffs on our exports to them, that becomes our charge on their exports to us.
Just do it country by country.
Including Europe’s bogus VAT charges.
Seems fair to me!
