Putting aside the promotional hubris of my ‘Outrageously Bullish Forecast’, there is a bearish case, and it is stated visually in the chart linked below. As you can see, the A-B rally begun on April 9 did not exceed the small, look-to-the-left ‘external’ peak from a week earlier. That means ‘A-B’ is not even impulsive. The rally does seem to be weakening, and that’s why I am raising the possibility that it is just a garden-variety bear rally, the first of several we might see in the next 2-3 years.
