When gold was falling hard in late October, there was a lot of hand-wringing and anxious speculation everywhere about how far the correction might go. Some even thought the bull market was over. Not here, though. Very near what turned out to be the low, I wrote that gold was probably bottoming. This was not the usual, cheap parlor trick that I do. It was simply having confidence in the midpoint Hidden Pivot of a corrective pattern. Paying attention to price action at the midpoint is crucial to my system, and it is not difficult. Anyone can do it with almost no knowledge of the Hidden Pivot Method. |

Because I understand the trend I look at any deep correction as a great buying opportunity. Bought at discounted prices on 10/27 posted here. GDXJ,SLV Nov14 $44.5C. I’m now getting paid . |

BTC is getting close to Rick’s number. [{{ It got within a hair (0.3%) of it last night, then rallied nearly $3000, almost precisely to the red line where I always recommend taking profits. If it were smart enough, I might think it is toying with me. Whatever the case, I don’t care for buying sloppy seconds now that BTC has returned to the green line and actually touched it this time. Well Joey, I tried to enter SIZ long to ride it up to 52.75 via a small ABC on 3m chart. I was successful but got kicked out with +$540. That’s spare change regarding the spike which followed. I am more upset about what could I have earned than happy about my small profit. |
