March ES, currently 6711.40, would trip a ‘mechanical’ buy on a pullback to 6661.25, stop 6608.50. The trade is predicated on a run-up to 6819.50, my minimum upside projection for the near term, where it can be reversed (but only if you’ve been long on the way up).

April Crude, currently 93.98, is on its way down to 87.69. Short a feint to 98.75, stop 102.45.

Apr Gold on a theoretical ‘buy’ from 5027.00, stop 4970.00. The bounce will need to surpass 5083.90 to put bulls back in charge.

I am confident in all of the numbers/levels above, although I cannot ‘guarantee’ the long in gold because of the way it is struggling to get airborne. It has already come within 3.50 of stopping out the trade. Calculate the entry risk before you do any of these trades, since the implied ‘textbook’ risk is huge and needs to be handled with a camo trigger in each instance.

Anybody home?

Yes! Thanks Rick and I am reading it carefully. I appreciate your guidance. I cannot always benefit as I am not a full time trader. So every now and then I do a trade but most of my money is in longer term precious metals investments.

Rick: My situation is somewhat like Walter’s, and I am trying to follow your guidance. Looking for a good place to add to my metals/miners positions. Glad you are back!

Trying to find an easy trade (in TQQQ), discovering mainly that the ‘clueless idiots’ factor underlying nearly all price action is ratcheted up to the max. This will remain so, as my ES tout implies, until crude prices fall sufficiently to lull the clueless idiots into a state of ‘calm’.

Rick I went long ES this morning just above 6661.25. Showing a nice green number now. [{{ Good for you! I set a 6661.75 bid, stop 6641.75, before I went to bed and now see that I missed a move worth as much as $4000/per contract by 3.50 points. I am just learning what time it is, since my not-smart house clocks did not go on DST while I was in California. RA }}} ]

Thanks. I just got up this morning and saw it reverse and jumped in. Took a nice profit of >3K just below 6800.

Is the es still a buy?

The timely, informal trades that I post here regularly have racked up an unbroken string of winners, quite a few of them huge, that could have repaid your subscription cost a hundredfold. However, subscribers will need to check the room regularly for these ‘throwaway’ trades, since I do not plan on disseminating them via text alerts or email, nor to update touts to reflect them. To do so would add myriad administrative steps to my day that would compromise my ability to execute the trades myself. Any subscriber who does not take advantage of ‘throwaway’ trades, many of which are geared to novices, is using Rick’s Picks at 20% strength.
