Unless Microsoft becomes a shoe-in to top a crowded field in the AI race to who-knows-where, there is no way it can put up a C-D leg equal to last month’s insanely impulsive A-B. From a visual standpoint, the stock seemingly ‘wants’ to pull back for more of a breather than it’s gotten ping-ponging around in a shallow correction that has persisted for the last six weeks. But however deep it sinks, the stock is too pumped with hot air to stay down for long. Since the stock is a key bellwether for the bull market, that will be problematic for die-hard bears. The 481.20 downside target we’ve been using remains valid, at least for now.
